The Dial-A-ZIP Application Programming Interface (API) provides a programmatic interface to all of the Dial-A-ZIP functionality found in the Envelope Manager products. The API is a small set of functions that may be called by any Windows application to provide address verification and correction.

- Full set of Dial-A-ZIP methods: modem, TCP/IP, HTTP and CD-ROM (USPS AMS II)
- Complete standalone operation (DAZzle or Envelope Manager not required)
- Simple interface (only one call required for a single lookup, three for a list).
