32-bit version::
The Help buttons in those screens will show you important information on both zipping and unzipping files.
16-bit version:
You can make another copy of a database’s contents by exporting it to a different name or a different drive and directory.
Once you have zipped the database, you can use File|Database Operations|Delete Database or the File|Find option to delete the original full-size database. When you want to retrieve the database, use File|Database Operations|UnZip Database.
The new copy will have the same records but new index files, different record numbers, and none of your deleted records.
