The three Word Processing Import options import ASCII text files that have been created in a word processor. The files must be saved as ASCII/DOS files, not as normal word processing files.
Word Processing #1 Import
This option The addresses must be in the following format:
Ms. Rickee Lee Jones
247 High St.
Palo Alto, CA 94301-1041
--------Page break--------
Word Processing #2 Import
If your addresses have a search name as the first line of the address, use this option instead of Word Processing #1. The addresses must be in the following format:
Jones
Ms. Rickee Lee Jones
247 High St.
Palo Alto, CA 94301-1041
--------Page break--------
Word Processing #3 Import
This option is best if you want to import a text file from Microsoft Word because it only requires a blank line after each address, not a hard page break. Word files that have been saved as Text files do not retain page breaks, so this is the only Word Processing import option that will work for Word files. The files must be in the following format:
Ms. Rickee Lee Jones
247 High St.
Palo Alto, CA 94301-1041
--------Blank Line--------
