How do I print 1-column, continuous-feed labels (also known as Cheshire or pin-fed labels)?

Example 1, labels that are 15/16 inch high:

  1. In DAZzle, go to File|Printer Setup.
  2. Choose your dot matrix printer, tractor as the paper feed source, and Letter (8.5X11 in) as the Printer Paper Size. Click OK.
  3. Go to Layout|Media, put the dot next to Label and select 1 Column Continuous from the list of label types.
  4. Click on Setup and specify the number and dimensions of vertical columns and horizontal rows.
Note: The number of rows times the height of the rows plus the top margin (if any) should match the height of the paper you specified in File|Printer Setup. The example below assumes you chose 8.5X11 paper.

Example 2, labels that are 1 and 7/16 inch high:

Choose a paper size that is 12 inches high under File|Printer Seup. Under Layout|Media, choose 1 Column Continuous labels. The setup matches the example above except that the Rows should say Number 8 with Height 1.5 inches.
