Where should I put the barcode on my mailpiece? Which barcode should I use?

The barcode options can be changed at the Layout|Barcode menu option in DAZzle. Putting the barcode in the lower right corner is harder to print correctly and doesn't satisfy the "AUTO" requirement for Automation mailings. Therefore, unless you are designing Business Reply Mail, which has it's own strict regulations, you should use a Delivery Point Barcode above or below the address.
