What do the return codes mean in DAZzle?

Below is a list of "return codes"--the codes DAZzle and Envelope Manager use to identify the results when an address is verified. In Envelope Manager, you can filter for this information. In DAZzle, if you map a field to "return code" you can use that information in your program to identify the results of your certification.

Code Status Meaning
10 F Invalid address format
11 F Invalid five digit ZIP
12 F State not recognized
13 F City not recognized
21 F Address not found
22 C Multiple matches were found (Address needs to be more specific)
31 A A precise match was found (Qualifies for CASS)
32 B A default match was found (Qualifies for CASS)
E Data imported, no validation tried yet
I International address
ND Non-delivery address
